Job Description
· To operate, control, monitor and ensure WWTP running in smooth and good operation.
· To ensure the plant is well maintained and clean.
· To do chemical preparation, raw water lab analysis and sludge transfer/disposal.
· Involve in troubleshooting, countermeasures, breakdowns and system improvement.
· To control, observe and monitor that WWTP meets DOE standards and regulations.
· Carry out shutdown work as specified by the supervisor.
· Carry out maintenance or troubleshooting work as and when necessary.
· Monitor plant housekeeping and waste storage.
· Collect data on safety and overall health in the surrounding area.
Job Requirements
· Candidate must possess at least SPM/Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional certificate or equivalent experience.
· Able to work in rotation shifts.
· Willing to work overtime and during public holidays.
· Able to work in a heavy and tough environment.
· At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Initiative, fast learner, and disciplined candidate.
· Able to work in wet, noisy, and under pressure conditions.
· Willing to learn.
