About the role

Total Investment Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety Supervisor cum Maintenance Officer to join our growing team in Perak. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our construction projects, while also overseeing the maintenance of our facilities and equipment.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and monitoring safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards
• Providing safety training and education to our construction teams
• Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents that occur
• Coordinating and carrying out the maintenance of our facilities, machinery and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Collaborating with the construction and maintenance teams to identify and address any issues

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a safety supervisor or maintenance officer in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using safety and maintenance management software
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in occupational health and safety, or construction maintenance
