SAFETY SUPERVISOR CUM ADMIN

As a Safety Supervisor Cum Admin with Hitec Metal Sdn. Bhd., you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for our factory in Broga, Selangor. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety and environmental management of our factory.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the execution of Occupational Health & Safety Requirements and Environmental Management System in factory.
• Facilitate the implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures according to ISO 14001 & 45001 standard and conduct safety briefings.
• Ensure the factory complies with all legal and safety requirements.
• Conduct periodic inspections to identify potential hazards to the health and safety of employees.
• Notify the manager and the Safety and Health Officer immediately of any health and safety issues or potential issues related to health and safety on the project site.
• Assist with on-site accident investigations, emergency exercises, and evacuations.
• Maintain compliance with the Company's Occupational Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental (QHSE) standards by following safety and health regulations and procedures, as well as appropriate policies and work instructions.
• Provide administrative support to the manager.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor or in a similar health and safety role within the construction industry.
• Excellent knowledge of safety regulations, safe work practices, and emergency response procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with site workers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable with using safety management software.
• Schedule Waste (CEPSWAM) Competency will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field is preferred.
