Safety Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment at the project/site by implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with local regulations and company standards. The role includes conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, promoting safety awareness, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Able to conduct comprehensive and frequent site inspections to proactively identify safety hazards, evaluate risks, and advise contractors to enforce compliance with safety standards.
2. Able to recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures to minimize future risks.
3. Able to check, review, and enforce safety measures at the site, ensuring all workers (both direct and subcontractors) are in compliance with safety standards and procedures.
4. Provide ongoing support to the project by maintaining a visible presence in the field, conducting regular site visits across the entire project to ensure safety measures are actively implemented.
5. Able to work extended hours.
6. Must possess a valid Yellow Book certification approved by DOSH.
7. Able to travel when needed.
8. Ensure familiarity with local laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
9. Able to assist the EHS Manager in conducting training sessions on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and proper equipment usage to reduce workplace incidents.
10. Knowledgeable in construction and electrical work activity.
