Possess minimum Degree in Science / Engineering / Safety and Health or equivalent from recognized university/ college.
Registered Green Book practitioner with DOSH.
At least 5 years of experience as a practicing Safety and Health Officer (SHO), with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, construction, or high-rise building environment and management.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in conducting SHE programs, audits, workplace inspections, and SHE-related training, with expertise in Safety, Health & Environmental Management Systems (ISO 45001 OHS MS).
Ability to work independently, with a strong desire to promote a SHE workplace culture.
Job Responsibilities:
Implement, review, and ensure compliance with the Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policy.
Serve as the Safety & Health Committee (SHC) coordinator, organizing meetings, reviewing safety procedures, and addressing workplace safety issues with management.
Lead hazard assessments, safety controls, site inspections, and third-party management, ensuring safety compliance for office buildings.
Plan and execute safety training, awareness campaigns, and communication with the workforce, while maintaining safety certifications.
Engage with external authorities, build and maintain relationships with regulators, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Plan and lead safety audits, corrective actions, and incident management, ensuring overall safety compliance across the organization.
Establish and coordinate the Emergency Response Team (ERT), ensure proper evacuation infrastructure, and organize emergency drills as required.
Mentor team members, manage performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensure compliance with workforce well-being policies and organizational goals.
