About the role

Resorts World Langkawi is seeking an experienced Safety & Security Manager to join their team in Langkawi, Kedah. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of guests and staff at this premier resort destination.

What you'll be doing

• Developing, implementing and monitoring comprehensive safety and security policies, procedures and protocols to maintain a secure environment for guests and employees
• Managing a team of security personnel and overseeing their training, scheduling and performance
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate identified risks
• Liaising with local authorities and emergency services to coordinate effective response plans
• Investigating and reporting on any incidents, accidents or security breaches
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations
• Continuously reviewing and improving safety and security systems and procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar safety and security management role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety and security strategies
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and motivate a team
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and crisis management capabilities
• Thorough understanding of relevant safety, security and emergency response regulations
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
