Responsibilities

• Maintain records of incident and accident and produce subsequent reports and recommendations to management.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with mandatory regulations.
• Monitor and handle scheduled Waste Management.
• Conduct regular size inspections to check that policies and procedures are being properly implemented and comply with relevant regulations.
• Organize and attend Safety and Health Committee meetings and conduct in-house training (certified trainer) on safety and health issues, i.e., chemical spillage, fire drill, first aid, FSO training.
• Perform risk assessments of environmental aspects & impact (ISO14001).
• Maintain and review HIRARC.

Requirements

• Valid DOSH Registered SHO (Green Book);
• Three or more years of experience in a related department;
• Understanding of safety management systems and regulatory issues;
• Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAM)
• ISO14001 internal auditor.
