EITA Resources acquired a 60% stake in TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd (TSC) in 2016. TSC was previously incorporated on 8th April 2009 under the Malaysia Company Act, 1995.

TSC is run by a dedicated team of experienced and qualified engineers and technicians, most of whom have more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the field of electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and utilisation. Our specialty is in the implementation of electrical substations ranging from LV to EHV up to 500KV.

In addition, we are also involved in the local manufacturing of Control Protection relay panels, Marshalling Kiosk, Metering Panels, and related equipment to complement our primary substation implementation business.

Job Description

• Advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on measures to be taken for the safety and health of employees.
• Assist the safety and health committee in inspections of the workplace to check the effectiveness of compliance with all related Acts, Regulations, and Guidelines.
• Inspect the workplace to determine the safety of machinery, plant, equipment, substances, appliances, or processes used.
• Serve as secretary to the safety and health committee.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain statistics on accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, and occupational diseases.
• Assist any officer in safety and health matters pertaining to the workplace.
• Report to the Project Manager and assist Line Management in implementing the Site Safety Management Plan.
• Provide advice on the development of Safe Operating Procedures, Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Prepare Site Safety Statistics & Site Safety Monthly Reports.
• Conduct weekly and monthly Safety Inspections.
• Review all Near misses / Incidents / Accidents and ensure the site maintains records and documentation as per statutory requirements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the HOD from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience in an Occupational Safety and Health position in the construction industry.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Candidate must have Green Book and CIDB certification.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Must be willing to Travel & Outstation.
• Willing to work at night when required.
