EITA Resources acquired a 60% stake in TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd (TSC) in 2016. TSC was previously incorporated on 8th April 2009 under the Malaysia Company Act, 1995.

TSC is run by a dedicated team of experienced and qualified engineers and technicians, most of whom have more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the field of electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization. Our specialty is in the implementation of electrical substations ranging from LV to EHV up to 500KV.

In addition, we are also involved in the local manufacturing of Control Protection relay panels, Marshalling Kiosk, Metering Panels, and related equipment to complement primary substation implementation business.

Job Description

• Advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken in the interests of safety and health.
• Assist the safety and health committee in any inspections of the workplace for compliance with all related Acts, Regulations, and Guidelines.
• Inspect the workplace to determine the safety of machinery, plant, equipment, substances, appliances, or processes.
• Serve as secretary to the safety and health committee.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain statistics on accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, and diseases.
• Assist any officer in matters pertaining to workplace safety and health.
• Report to Project Manager and assist Line Management in implementing the Site Safety Management Plan.
• Provide advice on developing Safe Operating Procedures, Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Prepare Site Safety Statistics & Site Safety Monthly Reports.
• Conduct weekly and monthly Safety Inspections.
• Review all Near Misses/Incidents/Accidents and ensure compliance with company statutory requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the HOD.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience in an Occupational Safety and Health position in the construction industry.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Candidate must have Green Book & CIDB certification.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Must be willing to Travel & Outstation.
• Willing to work at night when needed.
