EITA Resources acquired a 60% stake in TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd (TSC) in 2016. TSC was previously incorporated on 8th April 2009 under the Malaysia Company Act, 1995.

TSC is run by a dedicated team of experienced and qualified engineers and technicians, most of whom have more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the field of electricity generation, transmission, distribution and utilization. Our specialty is in the implementation of electrical substations ranging from LV to EHV up to 500KV.

In addition, we are also involved in the local manufacturing of Control Protection relay panels, Marshalling Kiosk, Metering Panels, and related equipment to complement our primary substation implementation business.

Job Description

• To advise the employer or any person in charge of a place of work on the measures to be taken in the interests of the safety and health of the persons employed in the place of work.
• To assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place of work for the purposes of checking the effectiveness and efficacy of any measures taken in compliance with all related Acts, Regulations, and Guidelines.
• To inspect the place of work to determine whether any machinery, plant, equipment, substance, appliances or processes, or any description of manual labor used in the place of work are compliant.
• To become secretary to the safety and health committee.
• To collect, analyze, and maintain statistics on any accidents, dangerous occurrences, occupational poisoning, and occupational diseases which have occurred at the place of work.
• To assist any officer in matters pertaining to safety and health of the place of work.
• Reports to Project Manager and assists and advises Line Management on the implementation of the Site Safety Management Plan.
• Provide advice to Line Management on the development of Safe Operating Procedures, Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Prepare Site Safety Statistics & Site Safety Monthly Report.
• Carry out weekly and monthly Safety Inspections.
• Review all Near misses / Incidents / Accidents and ensure the site maintains records and documentation as per the company statutory requirements.
• And any other duties as assigned by the HOD from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience in an Occupational Safety and Health position in the Construction industry.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Candidate must have Green Book and CIDB.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to provide solutions for problem-solving.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Must be willing to Travel & Outstation.
• Willing to work at night when needed.
