Safety & Health Officer (SHO)

We are a leading construction company with over 30 years of experience in civil engineering and infrastructure works. The company is rapidly expanding and we are in need of a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) to facilitate compliance with the provided guidelines. You will be the key person to advise on hazard measures and lookout for violations.

There are 2 vacancies available for this position.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety (OHS) policies, procedures, and systems to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assess potential risks and hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to reduce them.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits regularly to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Investigate any safety-related incidents and provide recommendations to prevent future incidents.
• Provide safety training to employees to ensure they understand and comply with safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of safety inspections and incidents.
• Monitor and evaluate safety programs to identify any areas of improvement.
• Remain up-to-date with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Job requirements:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• Must have Green Book.
• Newly certified Green Book holders are highly encouraged to apply.
• Experience working in the construction industry is an added advantage.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Ijok or Shah, Selangor.
• Applicants must be willing to work on Saturday (8AM - 1PM).
