Job description
Job Responsibilities

  • HSSE Advisory Services
  • To advise and monitor on compliance to HSSE legal requirements to activities being carried out within hospital sites.
  • To advise FM and Operation on the HSSE related matters.
  • To advise on HSSE improvements plan for operation from the results obtained during Workplace Inspection or Compliance assessment.
  • To identify the HSSE hazards, conduct risk assessment and propose risk control measures according to hierarchy of control.
  • To assist and support HSSE Leadership Visit for Top Management and Regional Leaders at sites.
  • To be accountable for HSSE matters at based site and coverage site.
  • Safety Operation Services
  • To plan and conduct HSSE compliance assessment and HSSE Inspection.
  • To conduct HSSE committee meeting and become Secretary and coordinate EPMC Meeting.
  • To conduct activities based on HSSE Integrated Activity Plan and injury reduction plan.
  • To participate in HSSE online reporting and to guide staff in online system.
  • To participate in HSSE Competency Gap Analysis.
  • HSSE Compliance
  • To monitor compliance to HSSE legal requirements for all tasks carried out within Healthcare Services site.
  • To implement and maintain certification of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001.
  • To assess HSSE compliance through HSSE workplace inspection and walkabout.
  • To enforce and ensure compliance with all the rules and regulations as stated in the company for all staff and contractors at sites.
  • HSSE Incident Management
  • To initiate investigation and provide reports for all incidents occurred and propose practical recommendations.
  • To analyze Incident Statistics and trends within operation sites.
  • To be accountable for reporting of incidents at coverage sites.
  • To verify the validity of incidents at coverage sites.
  • HSSE Performance
  • To monitor HSSE Performance and ensure it is updated with timely reporting.
  • To update HSSE performance on a monthly basis and ensure it is timely reported.
  • To monitor and follow up on audit findings.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • To participate in meetings and/or forums with Group, HQ & Regional.
  • To participate in any external programs conducted by MOH relevant to HSSE such as MQSH Audit and Flying Squad Audit by Bahagian Perkhidmatan Kejuruteraan (BPK) / Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri (JKN).
  • To conduct training as requested by MOH related to OSH.
  • To be the term of reference in terms of HSSE for users at own and executive site.
  • To participate in any external programs conducted by Authorities relevant to HSSE such as DOSH, DOE, and BOMBA.
  • To respond and follow up on notices received from DOSH or DOE.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Occupational Safety & Health Management.
  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience in environmental management.
  • Hands-on experience in Safety & Health Management.
