Job Scope:

1. Advise and implementation of new or existing EHS related legislation, rules and regulations in compliance with DOSH and DOE.
2. Health & Safety & Environmental training.
3. Fire prevention & Site inspection.
4. Complete prevention inspection on a regular basis.
5. Ensure records are maintained.
6. Investigate accidents and ensure all documentation is updated.
7. Develop a monthly HSE communication strategy for all levels of staff.
8. Full responsibility for preparation for HSE audits, including ISO-45001 & ISO 14001.
9. Liaise with operations for initiating and coordinating training plans and updating information for personnel and audit requirements.
10. Advise management at all levels on health & safety and environmental compliance matters.
11. Ensure all advice is incorporated into day-to-day processes and operations.
12. Incident investigation and reporting.
13. Site Risk Assessments.
14. Responsible for submission documentation.
15. Ensure the Environmental Management System is effective, in line with policies, procedures, applicable legislation, and regulatory requirements.
16. Responsible for strategic planning and controls to ensure alignment with the objectives of the Environmental Management System/Processes.

Job Requirements:

1. Green Book Holder is a MUST.
2. Green Book Holder registered as Safety Officer by DOSH or with Academic Qualification and Eligibility to register as SHO with DOSH to obtain the Green Book Holder.
3. Obtain Competent Person by DOE is an added advantage.
4. Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Others or equivalent.
5. At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
