Responsibilities:

• Ensure all legal and inspections requirements by DOSH, DOE and BOMBA are met and completed within the plan for all premises and work site.
• Maintain, enforce & improve safety related matters with respect to the Department of Occupational Safety & Health Malaysia requirements.
• Promote, establish, and implement the Health and Safety procedures and awareness among the workforce and facilitate the safety & health committee meeting.
• Identify, investigate, and report on root causes for incidents & accidents and conduct risk assessment and facilitate training for workers with respect towards all safety issues.
• Conduct safety inspection in all workplaces including the emergency equipment such as firefighting equipment & first aid facilities. To lead and coordinate ERT or First Aid team during emergency.
• Collect, analyses and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning/ disease which have occurred at the workplace.
• Control and manage personal protective equipment and first aid items.
• Prepares various reports, documents, and forms.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Others), Safety Management or equivalent.
• GREEN BOOK competency is a MUST.
• At least 7 year(s) of working experience in SHO or other related field is required for this position.
• Experienced in railway industry (Infrastructure) will be added advantage.
• Well versed in The Workplace Safety and Health Act and related legislation, knowledge of enforcement procedures.
• Candidate must have ability to maintain effective work relationships and good organization skills.
• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.
• Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
• Able to work under high pressure work environment.
• Willingness to work at KLANG
