Provide advice and work closely with Line Management i.e. OIM, DSV and CSR, including Contractors on Health Safety Environment matters.
Ensure daily activities fully comply with HSE regulatory and company requirements covering HSEMS, MCF and TIPS.
Lead in regular HSE inspection/assurance.
Conduct/participate in site incident investigations.
Participate in HSE Risk Assessment and ensure accurate assessment of risks posed, adequate control, and recovery barriers are identified.
Plan, coordinate, and analyze the effectiveness of emergency preparedness and drill exercises (Tier 1) and drive the implementation of effective emergency response programs at work location.
Lead the HSE project documentation.
Formulate areas for improvement by analyzing Contractor HSE performance data.
Monitor implementation of intervention plans for gap closure and continuous improvement towards sustaining Contractor HSE excellence.
Foster and sustain effective working relationships and rapport with government authorities, stakeholders, and service providers.
Enforce the implementation of applicable PETRONAS procedures, guidelines, and compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
Communicate, interpret, and execute the objectives and provisions of the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and Codes of Conduct & Business Ethics (COBE).
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Engineering or Science.
Attended Safety and Health Officer Course.
Minimum 2 to 8 years of HSE working experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
