To arrange and conduct safety and compliance training for the new hires and contractors entering ACM premise on hazardous tasks.
To sign off IETS daily performance monitoring to ensure the discharge complies with Standard B Effluent Discharge.
To manage storage, inventory, and disposal of scheduled waste as per EQA 1974 requirements.
To update weekly discharge analysis results in OER system as per DOE requirements.
To liaise with external government and non-government bodies to ensure compliance.
Conduct orientation for new workers and implement HSSE system and program in the Company.
To perform routine walk-through audits and inspections.
To prepare site registration and submission to the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) for new sites and equipment installation applications.
To ensure licenses, permits, or certifications required are obtained and comply with local laws and legislation.
To perform potential hazards identification via Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment (HIRARC) for the Company.
To develop and form the HSSE committee, underlining its objectives and ensuring successful implementation in its functions in the Company.
Job Requirements
Min Diploma in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
Competent person for Industrial Effluent (CePIETSO), Schedule Waste Management (CEPSWAM), CEPBFO will be advantageous.
Min 2-3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Responsible, efficient, proactive, good at multi-tasking.
Willing to work with a high-performance team.
Good knowledge in ISO14001 and EICC/RBA or experience in managing internal and external audits.
Familiar with local and international environmental-related regulations and standards.
Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
