Ensures EHS program and procedure implementation to comply with company safety and health requirements (licenses, registrations, permits, ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 management systems).
To lead Safety / EHS committee teams to manage all safety & health related aspects within local regulatory act (OSHA, FMA, DOSH, DOE, Bomba, RBA & AELB).
Performs site EHS verification processes such as sample monitoring oversight, inspections & regular compliance audits.
To assist overall operations & maintenance team to perform assessment at safety & health related matter: i.e EHS trainings, safety equipment maintenance, company safety rules & regulation implementation.
To provide supervision and monitoring support for high risk work. Leads incident investigation teams. Identifies incident primary root causes and contributing factors and develops solutions to prevent recurrence.
To plan, configure & initiate weekly or monthly reports for management review.
Responsible for overall maintenance of plant & utilities equipment and the industrial building.
Regularly interacts with Manufacturing, Engineering support & OEM suppliers on matters concerning plant & utilities resource availability & performance.
Minimum (3) years hands on working experience in Environment, Safety & Health Department in Manufacturing environment.
Possess a registered Safety & Health Officer certificate (Green Book) from legal department.
Computer literate with good knowledge on Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
Performance oriented, strong initiative, a team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
