Safety & Health Officer

• Advise and implement new or existing EHS related legislation, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with DOSH and DOE standards.
• Responsible for strategic planning and controls to ensure alignment with the objectives of the Environmental Management System/Processes.
• Conduct regular prevention inspections.
• Develop a monthly HSE communication strategy and training for all levels of staff.
• Investigate accidents and ensure all documentation is updated.
• Full responsibility for preparation for HSE audits, including ISO-45001 and ISO-14001 audits.
• Manage the security team, develop and enforce security policies and emergency response plans, ensuring the safety of employees and assets.
• Perform other job tasks as assigned by the superior.

Requirement:

• Must possess an SHO Green Book certified by DOSH.
• Competent Person certification by DOE is an added advantage.
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in a related field or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with colleagues from diverse nationalities and backgrounds.
