Safety & Health Officer

• Ensure that all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
• Ensure all environmental, safety and health (EHS) procedures and reporting comply to local regulations such as Department of Safety and Health (DOSH), Department of Environment (DOE), Ministry of Health and BOMBA, NIOSH, EQA, UBBL to analyze the workplace, assess risks and make recommendations for preventive measures to maximize workplace safety.
• Advises Director on regulatory compliance requirement on Occupational Safety and Health issues.
• To plan, assign and supervise safety matters and requirement for all work sites.
• Take lead to manage and monitor project Health, Safety & Environment from beginning to end.
• Investigates injury, illness and non-injury incidents and reports to Management.
• Conducting Health & Safety related induction training programs to all employees as per required.
• Develop and maintain EMS documentation, including environmental manuals, procedures, and records.
• Maintain up to date HSE records, data and documents including duration of safekeeping accordingly.
• Ensure proper safety/warning signages are in place.
• Any other duties as directed by the Superior.
