To plan, assign and supervise safety matters and requirements for all work sites.
To implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the quality system.
Conducting Health and Safety related induction training programs for all employees as required.
To schedule, organize, conduct, and supervise the company’s Health and Safety committee and meetings.
To conduct investigations into any accident or near miss occurrence at all sites and suggest corrective actions and preventive methods or procedures to avoid reoccurrence of accidents at work sites.
To coordinate, monitor, or conduct safety training on safety procedures at all work sites and promote awareness of safety.
To advise management on any changes in Health and Safety Legislation.
Ensuring effective operation of safety management and compliance by all workers.
Undertake any other tasks assigned by the management from time to time as required.
Job Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Environment and Occupational Health or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent, recognized by the Department of Safety Health (DOSH) Malaysia.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the Manufacturing industry.
Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Must be registered as a Safety Officer with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) with a valid license (green book).
Able to work as a team and build a good working relationship with management and employees.
Able to work under pressure and in a fast-changing environment.
