As a Sales Marketing Manager (Freight Forwarding), you will:

  • New Business Development Hunter (50%) and Current Account Sales Management (50%).
  • Responsible for securing new customers and maintaining and developing new revenue streams from existing accounts.
  • Deliver volume and revenue targets for the Freight Forwarder sales channels while remaining focused on relationship building with customers to foster profitable sales.
  • Execute the cross-trade business of other countries related to Singapore business.
  • Support the network/agent business in response to shipment arrangements and information.
  • Provide our customers with the best possible solutions to solve their logistical issues, achieving and monitoring customer KPIs & initiatives to ensure quality, reliability, scalability, and productivity to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Issuance of quotations, preparation of RFQ, tender bids, reviewing rates, etc.
  • Prepare SOP, Operation T&C and get approval from relevant stakeholders before submitting to customers.
  • Maintain good relationships with carriers and co-loaders.
  • Meet and exceed set sales targets in terms of generating revenue and contributing gross profit for the company.
  • Maintain records of customer details, sales visits, and sales progress.
  • Identify potential customers and register opportunities to provide supply chain solutions leading to revenue for the company.
  • Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Operations on the execution of customer quotations.
  • Prepare Weekly Sales Progress Report to Management (updates on pipelines, targets, budgeting achievements).
  • Report to Managing Director and Sales Manager on current market information regularly.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of sales experience in 3rd Party Logistics & distribution and/or Freight forwarding/warehousing.
  • Experience in developing new sales opportunities (HUNTER).
  • Comfortable attending to work matters at home during weekends if required.
