Route to Market Execution Executive (Northern Region)
The role is responsible for optimizing execution and communication of RTM strategies, empowering sales teams to maximize their effectiveness. Facilitating the implementation of new RTM approaches for enhanced sales, market efficiency, cost-effective distribution, and elevated customer service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Information Gathering & Data Base Integrity
- Gather market information through feedback or digital tools and keep a database of all outlets within the designated region.
- Perform periodical quality checks on information gathered from the market (digital tools or systems) to assess the accuracy of the data.
- Analyze the data and propose recommendations which would improve processes & effectiveness for sales & distribution teams.
- Act as the point of contact (custodian) relating to RTM implementations & foster effective communications between stakeholders.
- Update the Outlet Database within the assigned territory with accurate GPS coordinates to drive a proper and productive route plan.
- Use the approved tools (Algorithm) to run Route Planning optimization periodically to optimize routes as market changes, ensuring route productivity and resource efficiency.
- Monitor compliance and sales effectiveness using data from SFA (Sales Force Automation) databases. Propose corrective plans and feedback to drive productivity forward.
- Conduct Time and Motion surveys for the assigned region periodically or when instructed to keep an updated reality of our time spent at the outlets by segment and channel.
- Assist distributors (within assigned region) in operational KPIs and its deviation from the plan. Report the number of Routes, Days of Inventory, Warehouse Size, On Time in Full Deliveries, and Volume/Revenue Achievement and share findings with the Sales team for correction.
- Responsible for assessing, designing, and executing Distributors infrastructure & financial capacity and operation efficiency.
- Create Distributor Development Activities and materials tailored to specific development needs to further professionalize them to increase our joint sales (by getting them to focus on the right KPIs).
- Act as an active member in Distributor Quarterly Business Review with Region Sales Team by sharing relevant information.
- Gather necessary information on areas identification of Wholesale Partner recruitment.
RTM Projects
- Support any projects related to RTM in line with the strategic priorities of sales operation.
- Develop and implement surveys on internal/external stakeholders to gather information and improve accuracy of internal data.
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting capabilities and metrics.
Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of experience in distribution and planning processes.
- Solid understanding of sales, delivery, and warehouse operations and their dependency on each other.
- Possess excellent reporting and analysis skills, as well as the ability to develop scenarios describing the cost and benefit of routing alternatives.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Strong analytical thinking skills and ability to translate data analysis into proposed route planning.
- Intermediate or Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively cascade route planning to users.
- Team player and able to work with different levels of people.
- Self-motivated.
