The Room Attendant cleans assigned guestrooms and keeps related room floors clean at all times during a shift, assisting guests with any questions they may have.

What will I be doing?

1. Complete and ensure all work done in assigned areas are to the highest cleanliness standards and in adherence to Hilton policies and procedures.
2. Ensure that guests' privacies are protected during service.
3. Offer all possible assistance to guests and respond to guests’ requests.
4. Clean and replenish supplies for guestrooms according to standards and procedures.
5. Perform turndown service when required.
6. Ensure master keys are kept secure at all times.
7. Keep trolleys neat and adequately supplied.
8. Maintain all equipment in good working condition.
9. Keep linen room neat and in good order.
10. Report any loss or damage of linen, furniture, fixture or equipment and maintenance deficiencies to the Floor Supervisor.
11. Be courteous and professional at all times, delivering high quality service to guests.
12. Maintain good working relationships with team members and all other departments.
13. Report maintenance issues promptly to the Engineering team.
14. Ensure compliance of lost and found procedures.
15. Take appropriate action to resolve guests’ complaints.
16. Promote the hotel and Hilton products and services.
17. Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge in order to explain and sell services and facilities to guests.
18. Adhere to the hotel’s policies and procedures, Hilton code of business conduct, and the hotel’s team member handbook.
19. Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What are we looking for?

1. High school graduate and attended skills training school.
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Housekeeping department.
3. 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels.
4. English literate to meet business needs.
5. Good knowledge of housekeeping’s daily operations on guest floors.
6. Flexible with working hours, able to work morning/evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
7. Good knowledge of chemical usage and cleaning rooms.
