RETAIL SUPERVISOR

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Supervisor to join our team at FDIG RETAIL in Setia Alam, Selangor. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our retail store, overseeing a team of retail assistants and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the retail team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Monitor and maintain proper stock levels, merchandise displays, and store cleanliness.
• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement store policies and procedures.
• Make decisions regarding the store while the Manager is on leave.
• Place orders with purchasers, alert of grocery prices from time to time, and make price adjustments in stores as needed.
• Ensure that there is always enough stock in the store.

What we're looking for

• At least 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role. No experience also can apply.
• Having a GDL license is an advantage.
• Experience in sales is also applicable.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results.
• Familiarity with retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling.
• Proficient in using relevant retail software and Microsoft Office.
