Retail Sales Assistant

About the role

As a Retail Sales Assistant at ML MOTO & LUBE SDN. BHD., you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail store located in Kuching Sarawak. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company in the retail and consumer products industry.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and assisting customers, understanding their needs and providing personalised recommendations
• Maintaining product knowledge and staying up-to-date on new offerings
• Processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments
• Ensuring the store is well-stocked, organised and visually appealing to customers
• Providing excellent customer service and resolving any customer queries or concerns
• Supporting stock management and inventory control processes
• Collaborating with the retail team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the automotive or consumer products industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to delivering a positive shopping experience
• Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong numerical skills and proficiency in handling cash and card transactions
