RETAIL PHARMACIST

About the role

As a Retail Pharmacist with EZ CARE PHARMACY SDN. BHD., you will play a key role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our customers in our Melaka, Melaka store. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for dispensing medications, advising patients on the proper use of their prescriptions, and ensuring the safe and effective use of all medications.

What you'll be doing

• Dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counselling on the proper use, storage, and potential side effects of medications
• Monitor patients' medication regimens and identify potential drug interactions or adverse reactions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulations
• Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
• Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and interns as needed

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field
• Valid pharmacy license and registration with the Malaysian Pharmacy Board
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a retail pharmacist, preferably in a community pharmacy setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve medication-related issues
• Proficient in the use of pharmacy software and information systems
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care
