Retail Executive/ Management Trainee (Sri Petaling)

To lead & assist SM/SIC in managing and prevailing retail operation functions and performances, involving duties in supervisory roles, opening and closing of store, cash handling of daily sales, merchandising restocking, administration, and stock receipt reports as well as sales reports.

Communicate and coordinate with other departments and PICs to ensure the smooth execution and high level of quality for all operation activities of the outlet.

Manage and handle all aspects of the assigned outlet.

Maintain & manage cashier operations and all necessary documentation.

Identify, recommend, and implement systems to minimize loss of merchandise, money, or company assets and report to the relevant person in charge.

Ensure & maintain low shrinkage as per KPI.

Sales and Marketing

Able to understand the process of disposal and return of damaged stocks.

Assist & monitor as well as replenish merchandise and standard display according to Company’s requirements.

Ensure pricing and display of merchandise items are correctly labeled and up to Company’s standard of practice.

Monitor and handle housekeeping and the ordering process of outlet’s stocks.

Plan, coordinate, record, and control the incoming & outgoing stocks, including preparation of stock reports, stock conditions, and expiry details.

Talent Acquisition & Management

Ensure sufficient manpower for the outlet by working actively alongside HR on recruitment.

Schedule and plan for sufficient manpower for daily operations.

Oversee staff activities and work performance within their assigned area.

Assist in providing on-the-job training for new and existing staff as required.

Administration & Ad-hoc

Ensure compliance with Company’s policies and operational guidelines.

Report to SM/SIC on progress and issues.

Ensure good housekeeping, cleanliness, tidiness, and effective display of merchandise and the outlet as a whole.

Provide excellent customer service and solutions by mastering product knowledge for recommendations to customers.

Participate in any ad-hoc projects/tasks as assigned by management.
