Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Manage café operations strategy planning to achieve the Company objectives and sales target.
  • Ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Make employment decisions consistent with the Company’s guidelines for approval or review.
  • Continually strive to develop your staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an accurate, organized, and timely manner.
  • Ensure all supplies, equipment, tools, and work stations are kept in clean, excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
  • Comply with federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests.
  • Assist and lead the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting activities.
  • Attend scheduled meetings at HQ and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly briefings at outlet level.
  • Work to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in all areas of responsibility.
  • Provide support in solving café operations problems and issues.
  • Perform any other duties that are assigned to you from time to time and follow all the rules and regulations set by the Company.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess at least SPM or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience.
  • Previous experience in the F&B industry will be an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated and dynamic personality with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Good problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and willing to work long hours including weekends and public holidays.
  • Display creativity and initiative in carrying out duties.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
