The resort consists of 494 guest rooms, a 64-acre nature reserve, the Rasa Ria Reserve, home to wildlife including long-tailed macaques and slow lorises, and home to an 18-hole championship golf course with picture-perfect views of Mt Kinabalu (a UNESCO World Heritage site).

We're looking for a professional Restaurant Manager - Food & Beverage for our Food & Beverage Service Division.

Job summary

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, management and overall performance of the outlet/section appointed to. As such he/she will be directly involved in the day-to-day running of the outlet in connection with staffing, customer services and product quality. Delegation of duties and responsibilities to his/her assistant is necessary to ensure the proper functioning of all phases of F&B service in the areas under control. He/she is to implement all standardized procedures, rules and regulations systematically to be in line with hotel standards and policies.


Requirements

  • Physically fit, neat, and well-groomed
  • Proficient in oral and written English; additional language is an advantage
  • Confident, tactful, sensitive to guest and employee needs; service-oriented, team player, flexible
  • Effective managerial and leadership skills; well organized
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity in a 5-star hotel or in a standalone restaurant
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office)
  • Customer and revenue driven; high attention to detail
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge
  • Creative; can think outside the box
  • Due to local immigration policies, only Malaysian candidates will be considered
