• To provide continuous primary and preventive healthcare, monitor and counsel on common illnesses, chronic management of diseases and medical/pre-employment screening for patients and Corporate Clients.
• To render evidenced based investigation to the patients.
• To support business development, implementation and promotion of Health Screening Program to patients and corporate clients.

Core Duties

• Performing history taking, physical examination and counselling patients on blood test, X-ray, ECG and other relevant investigation reports.
• Generating health screening/other medical reports based on patient medical check-up reports and recommendations for further investigations with referrals to consultants for abnormal results.
• Advising patients for necessity of vaccination.
• Consult patients on topics such as proper nutrition, fitness and hygiene to assist them in making informed decisions and taking good care of their health.
• Identifying abnormalities and diseases detected from health screening reports.
• Prescribe medications in compliance with national health regulatory and inform patients of all possible risks, complications and interference with other medications they may be taking.
• Managing chronic diseases/conditions within the primary care setting.
• Maintain updated patient’s medical records that document all evaluations, medications, treatments, allergies, test results and other records into the Hospital Information System; in accordance with agreed protocols.

Qualification & Requirements

• Recognized Medical Degree from an accredited University.
• Registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in primary health care/preventive medicine will be advantaged.
