We are looking for a Reporting Analyst to manage financial and operational reporting, ensuring data accuracy, insightful analysis, and process optimization. This role involves calculating commissions, extracting and analyzing financial, sales, and marketing data, and generating reports to support strategic decision-making. You will also enhance reporting capabilities through automation, collaborate with stakeholders to improve data processes, and contribute to business efficiency at the group level. Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) and familiarity with Power BI or SQL will be essential for success in this role.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for accurate commission calculations, financial reporting, and data-driven decision-making to support business operations and company growth. The role involves extracting, analyzing, and interpreting financial, sales, and marketing data to generate reports, track key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights that enhance strategic planning and operational efficiency. Additionally, it includes automating reporting processes, safeguarding confidential data, and continuously improving reporting methodologies while managing ad-hoc analysis and other business-related tasks as needed.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Commission Calculation & Validation – Accurately calculate and validate commission payouts based on various structures, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Financial, Sales & Marketing Reporting & Performance Monitoring – Extract, analyze, and interpret financial, sales, and marketing data to generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, track KPIs, monitor trends, and provide insights to support business decisions and performance improvements.
  • Data-Driven Decision Support – Analyze complex data to generate actionable insights that support strategic planning, optimize financial performance, enhance marketing effectiveness, and drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Automation & Reporting Optimization – Develop and optimize reporting tools, including Excel models with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and macros to streamline reporting processes.
  • Confidential Data Management – Handle sensitive business and employee commission data with a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Process Enhancement & Best Practices – Continuously refine reporting methodologies and commission structures by leveraging industry best practices and financial data analysis.
  • Ad-hoc Reporting & Strategic Support – Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and reporting, providing key insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • General Ad-hoc Tasks – Handle other tasks as needed that align with the job scope and business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting, data analysis, or commission structure calculations.
  • Experience handling large data sets, both structured and unstructured.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros; familiarity with Power BI and Power Query is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL or other data analysis and reporting tools is an added advantage.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both Mandarin and English required.
  • High integrity and ethical standards, with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and logical thinking.
