Report Analytics Developer

This role is responsible for developing and supporting various global enterprise applications from onsite premise to cloud-based Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Data Analytic solutions. These solutions integrate closely with our application, hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) for internal employees and an external portal for our contractual parties.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytic capabilities from various data sources to meet business requirements across corporate functions worldwide.
2. Develop report prototypes and fine-tune report deliverables.
3. Excellent in preparing presentations and able to articulate insights/trends/variance from data analysis.
4. Perform unit testing and data validation.
5. Produce metrics, create documentation, and process workflows.
6. Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards.
7. Collaborate with the local Technology Team on a day-to-day basis and with the USA technical team on an as-needed basis. When required, must be flexible in schedule to facilitate real-time communication with the offshore team via Skype, phone, or other tools.

Experience

1. Min 2 years of solid experience in Data Analysis, preferably Data Modelling, Trending, Prediction, and Forecasting.
2. Hands-on and proficient in NoSQL, RDBMS, CQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or any other DB technologies.
3. N-Tier enterprise application development in a distributed environment.
4. Completed at least 2 full Agile development life cycles.
5. Knowledge of logical and physical data modelling concepts (relational and dimensional).

Qualification

Min Bachelor Degree in a Computer-related field or equivalent work experience.

Skills

1. Databases – Amazon Redshift, Cassandra, Ms SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, OrientDB.
2. BI Tools – Business Objects, Tableau, Ms Excel.
3. Scripting - CQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQL, Java, Unix/Linux Shell.
4. Data Modelling – Star schema, Snowflake schema, Galaxy schema.
5. Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills.
7. Experience with rapid release software (continuous delivery) development practices (Agile/Scrum).

2. Experience working in Royalty systems or within the Music Publishing industry.
