Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Develop stress/substrate/driver/adaptor boards & stencil, related hardware and software solutions (low to medium complexity design) according to product applications and different stress systems.
- Verify and buy off hardware & software and release in time. Improvement of the buy-off procedure.
- Perform specific stress test setup required due to complexity and deliver the know-how to the Engineering sustaining team.
- Be part of international teams, working closely with product development and application engineering along all sites.
- Board development and adaptation according to new requirements derived from the roadmaps. Participate in multiple projects in parallel. You will be the work package member for the project team.
- Align and track workflows with external partner companies/business partners. Interface/maintain existing suppliers. Procurement of new board design. Ensure on time delivery & release.
- Play an active role within possible problem solving topics (8D´s) and in common continuous improvement activities.
- Create or update documentation for new hardware/software/processes (work instruction, specification, OJTI..) and ensure they are adequate.
Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics or equivalent). Min. 3 years related experience in semiconductor reliability stress testing and board design is preferred.
- Experience in board design, reliability test methodology & concepts, reference standards, working principle of stress equipment and programming know-how will be an added Advantage.
- Knowledge of Eagle and/or Altium PCB design software. Experience in the design of reliability test boards and test boards for high power/frequency will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of embedded system design (for example, Arduino) and programming skills (for example, C# and C++).
- Knowledge of interfaces like SPI, JTAG, I2C and SWI will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of schematic/electronic circuitry and practical experience in troubleshooting & diagnosing electronic circuitry.
- Knowledge of international standards like IPC (for example, IPC-7351, IPC-9701, IPC-A-600F, IPC J-STD-001ES, etc) and JEDEC.
- Knowledge of inbias conditions of reliability stress test and surface mount technology (SMT) processes will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
