Job Title: Regulatory Affairs & QA/QC Specialist – Animal Feed Additives

Region: APAC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Regulatory Affairs & QA/QC Specialist to manage product registration and compliance for our animal feed additives plant in Malaysia and across the APAC region. This role will ensure that our products meet all local and regional regulatory requirements while overseeing quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes to maintain the highest product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance & Product Registration

• Register products with the Department of Veterinary Services (DVS) in Malaysia.
• Maintain strong relationships with DVS to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Work closely with distributors in APAC to facilitate product registrations in their respective countries.
• Ensure all products comply with local regulations and feed additive classification rules in each market.
• Oversee certifications for both the plant and the products (e.g., GMP+, FAMI-QS).

Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)

• Establish and maintain QA/QC teams to ensure product compliance.
• Develop QA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), programs, and manuals to meet regulatory and industry standards.
• Set up laboratory equipment and ensure proper operation for product testing and analysis.
• Monitor QA/QC processes to maintain consistent product quality.
• Support operations teams in meeting GMP+ and FAMI-QS standards.

Customer & Supplier Quality Management

• Coordinate with suppliers and production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Assist in handling customer complaints related to product quality.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure the resolution of quality concerns.

Facility & Process Compliance

• Ensure the new facility complies with all regulatory and quality standards.
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and implement necessary updates in processes and documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams to support audits and inspections from regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Experience in regulatory affairs and QA/QC within the animal feed, pharmaceutical, or food industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of DVS regulations and international feed additive registration requirements.
• Experience with QA/QC standards, laboratory setup, and quality management systems.
• Familiarity with GMP+, FAMI-QS, and other industry certifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with regulators, distributors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional APAC languages is an advantage.
