Regional Sales Manager APAC - Distribution Transformer

We are looking for a proactive and successful Regional Sales Manager to join our APAC Sales team. This position will report to Sales Director of Distribution Transformer (DT) APAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in their region, focusing on developing and expanding the customer base. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate critical thinking skills, possess in-depth market knowledge, excel in interpersonal and communication skills, and have a keen understanding of market trends.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales growth targets within the region.
  • Collaborate with Sales Head DT APAC to develop overall sales strategy and implement it to meet organizational goals.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors’ activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Generate new business opportunities and manage the bidding and pricing strategies in collaboration with factories.
  • Lead customer negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Oversee the handover process to factories and conduct win/loss analysis to improve future performance.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients and partners across countries and verticals.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for potential clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Coordinate agents in the region, setting business goals, and ensure these objectives are met.
  • Provide guidance and support to agents to achieve regional sales targets.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or equivalent experience, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Deep understanding of market trends and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Experience in generating opportunities, managing bidding and pricing strategies, customer negotiation, and handover process.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and knowledgeable in Distribution Transformer business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in CROM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
