Regional Legal Counsel

Your new company

You will be working for a globally known dynamic company within the Aviation industry who is looking for a Regional Legal Counsel to be based in Kuala Lumpur. Due to increasing demand within the market, a competent senior professional is needed to join their high-performing team to look into the Asia market.

Your new role

As the Regional Legal Counsel, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Negotiating and drafting legal documents across all business units, especially in relations technology industry
2. Providing legal advisory and risk management
3. Business partnering with the Sales & Commercial team
4. Providing support in various corporate transactions and regional projects
5. Involvement in developing and executing various contract models and processes for business needs
6. Keeping abreast with the latest legal developments and compliance measures
7. Liaising with external counsels

What you'll need to succeed

In order to qualify for this role, you must:

1. Possess a minimum of 7 years of post-qualified experience in in-house and private practice
2. Strong technical knowledge of corporate commercial law
3. Possess cross border transaction experience / regional exposure with a well-known global company
4. Well articulated with strong communication and business partnering skills
