This is a hands-on technical accounting role focused on finalizing group financial reports across APAC countries. Key objectives for the finance team include ensuring compliance with company policies, adhering to regional regulatory requirements, and achieving timely, accurate reporting. Additionally, the role prioritizes cost control, vendor management, and spending reviews across the group.
Oversee finance teams at each location, ensuring effective management of payables, receivables, collections, budgeting, and tax matters.
Establish the annual budgeting system and lead the annual budget preparation process.
Prepare and review financial reports, monitor performance, and evaluate group management results.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of statutory financial statements, corporate tax, VAT, and other regulatory reporting, including P&L and balance sheet reviews.
Monitor and manage credit control, debtors, and collection activities.
Oversee vendor payment reviews and approvals for each location.
Handle cash flow management, including bank reconciliations and cash planning.
Maintain relationships with external financial entities, including auditors, banks, and tax authorities.
Plan, manage, and execute internal audits, review systems and processes to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Conduct feasibility analyses for new centers/locations, pre- and post-opening.
Oversee lease-related administration and manage legal cases as needed.
Conduct monthly payroll reviews for the group, and manage payroll processing for the Malaysian team.
Ensure finance teams are adequately staffed and skilled, overseeing recruitment, retention, and training initiatives.
