Regional Communications Manager
To strengthen our Regional Marketing team, we're seeking someone who will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that enhance brand awareness and stakeholder engagement; manage internal and external messaging, media relations, and content creation to ensure that the Brand voice is consistent and impactful across various platforms.
This position will report to the Regional Category Development Manager and will be based in Selangor, Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure agreements and retainer contracts are in place for media and retail agencies, securing efficient investments for Jotun in coordination with Regional Purchasing.
- Lead the continuous improvement of Jotun’s digital solutions based on user analysis and insight, future digital trends, and content provided by brand managers.
- Coordinate the region's digital activities, promotions, and advertisements, including social media and any external consultants; manage and/or create content for publications in the region.
- Support Category and Solutions on the development of marketing material to maximize impact based on the target group and activity objectives.
- Ensure focus on the most impactful parts of the 360-degree communication mix. Evaluate proposals and ensure a consistent tone of voice in accordance with Corporate and segment guidelines.
- Measure the effect of external communication activities in the region and optimize the marketing mix accordingly.
- Act as the interface between Jotun and relevant agencies.
- Assure relevant and consistent internal and external communication is per corporate guidelines, policy, segment directions, and strategy.
What we look for:
- Strong expertise in crafting clear, impactful messaging across multiple platforms, with proven experience in media relations and content strategy.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, able to manage teams effectively while ensuring consistent brand voice and audience engagement.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience.
- Must be proficient in verbal and written English.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
