Regional Business Development Manager

Job Description

As the Plant Manager, you will work closely with the Operation CEO and Manufacturing Director and play a lead role to drive process optimization and continuous improvement of the plant operation.

• Lead, coach, and motivate the employees for performance excellence meeting the company objectives and KPIs in profitability, quality, service and innovation;
• Oversee production processes and prepare all the resources needed to maintain an efficient and continuous flow of production;
• Monitor and control the flow of supplies that includes the purchases, storage, and movement of the required quality of raw materials, and also work-in-progress inventory;
• Ensure good safety standard awareness and comply with in-house and regulatory standards;
• Efficient preventive maintenance planning to prevent unplanned downtime and to extend the life span of the machine;
• Understand profit & loss, overhead management, operating cash flow, budgeting and cost control;

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of working experience in chemical plant production and operation at the senior executive or managerial level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers, and local government authorities.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuantan, Pahang.
