Receptionist

Requirements:

Min. 2-years’ experience as Receptionist in a 4* or 5* operations (hotel or cruise ships)
Highly proficient in spoken and written English, French knowledge an advantage
Strong computer skills (MS Office)
Stress tolerant
Familiar with a multicultural working environment
Self-organized, disciplined, and reliable
Good problem-solving skills
Complaint management skills

Role and Responsibilities:

Provide a professional and courteous service in accordance with company standards and procedures
Guest Check-in and Check-out
Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally and inform supervisor
Distribute information within the team as well as to other departments
Ensure a complete display of all items in the onboard shop as per company standards
Verify all people on board (guests and crew) at departures
Ensure unauthorized persons do not come on board
Assist Front Office Manager with preparations for the upcoming cruise and closing of the current cruise
Book guest checks, perform daily closings, enter guest and crew information at embarkation
Count cash at every shift change
Ensure correct handling of all equipment, devices, and machinery
Participate in all safety drills
Report any potential safety hazards
Update the AGE control panel and codes when needed
Maintain and update the red safety book as per instructions
Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings, and meetings

Side Tasks:

Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor, e.g. luggage service, loading, and garbage off-loading
Assist with monthly inventories as per supervisor's instructions
Assist other departments as per supervisor's instructions
