What you'll be doing:
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees with professionalism and warmth.
- Manage and maintain the front desk area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and efficient manner.
- Register and direct visitors to the relevant department or person.
- Coordinate with internal departments for various administrative needs.
- Assist in organizing company events or employee gatherings when needed.
- Adhere to company policies regarding security and confidentiality.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and calls received.
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Take inventory of stationeries and restock as needed.
- Maintain the general office filing system.
- Provide support for ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Who are you:
- Minimum SPM qualification; a diploma or degree in business administration or related fields is an advantage. Prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (other languages are an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Presentable and well-groomed appearance.
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
