What you'll be doing:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage and maintain the front desk area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Register and direct visitors to the relevant department or person.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for various administrative needs.
  • Assist in organizing company events or employee gatherings when needed.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding security and confidentiality.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and calls received.
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Take inventory of stationeries and restock as needed.
  • Maintain the general office filing system.
  • Provide support for ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Who are you:

  • Minimum SPM qualification; a diploma or degree in business administration or related fields is an advantage. Prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (other languages are an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic office equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Presentable and well-groomed appearance.
  • Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
