R&D Technical Assistant (Drafter)

Responsibilities

• Create drawings and models from written and verbal specifications obtained from Designers and Engineers.
• Prepare Bill of Material (BOM) from written and verbal specifications obtained from Designers and Engineers.
• Work with Engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards, and design documentation.
• Work closely with Designers and Engineers to ensure coordination design effort is maintained.
• Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team.
• Participate in project meetings and conference calls as required.
• Prepare engineering documents for customer submittal.
• Participate in prototype & design review with Engineer/Executive’s guidance.
• Participate in countermeasure activity of line issue.
• Maintenance of drawing records.

Qualification / Requirement

• At least a graduate from vocational school/college. Degree holder is preferable.
• Extensive drafting experience in computer-aided design (SolidWorks is preferable).
• Willing to work consistently to meet deadlines.

Skills:

• SAP Modules: PP/MM (Display Material Master/BOM/Material Where-used list).
• Design Software, e.g.: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge.
• MS Office
