Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for all research and development of products related matters.
Achieves R&D operational objectives by preparing and completing action plans, assisting with the implementation of production, quality, and customer-service standards, identifying and resolving problems, supporting audits, determining system improvements, and supporting the implementation of change.
Execute to search and evaluate new raw materials, ingredient suitability, review, and cost effectiveness, to improve the application for new and current raw materials and packaging materials when necessary.
Liaise with internal departments regarding updating the production SOPs and specifications for all new or improved products.
Liaise with external laboratories on product development matters and food safety.
Collaborate with Sales, Production, QA/QC & Purchasing to minimize raw material wastage.
Ensure all R&D documentation and daily analysis records are updated, maintained, and filed accordingly.
Shall take additional responsibility as instructed by the immediate superior.
Requirements:
Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering or equivalent in any discipline from reputable universities.
Fresh graduates/entry level with or without working experience.
General knowledge of food technology and equipment.
Detail-oriented, initiative, and self-disciplined.
Experienced in collecting and interpreting data, including sensory, analytical, and commercial data.
