R&D CHEMIST

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To work on new product development and ensure the quality and target cost meets customer’s requirements.
2. Work on innovative products or new concepts to propose to Marketing or customers.
3. To prepare ingredient list, PIF, BMR for existing, new developed and launched products.
4. To conduct stability studies on all R&D samples and new products’ production batches.
5. To work with QC & Production Team on quality and procedures improvement and optimization.
6. To supervise lab assistants in carrying out daily tasks.
7. To perform trouble-shooting and investigation on Production’s quality issues.
8. Assist in any other matters relating to the department operation.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To advise formulation, process’s technical issues to Production and QC.
2. To issue and revise BMR, ingredient list and other relevant documents to internal department and external parties.
3. To source for new or alternative ingredients for new or existing products.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
2. Knowledge of chemistry and research experience in a relevant field.
3. Dedication to work initiative & able to work independently without much supervision.
