QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS)

The Quantity Surveyor (QS) is responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes cost planning, budgeting, risk management, and ensuring that projects are completed within their projected budgets. The QS plays a key role in ensuring the financial success of construction projects by overseeing costs and contracts from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

1. Measurement must be accurate.
2. Pre and post-contract management.
3. Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
4. Produce relevant monthly reports.
5. Sourcing of sub-contractors and suppliers.
6. Monitor and keep track of project expenses.
7. Submission of progress claims and variation orders.
8. Ensure timely closure of all main contracts and sub-contracts final accounts.

Qualifications

1. Recognized Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying.
2. Fresh graduates with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, analytical skills, and attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
3. Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Cubicost/Glodon.
