Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out site measurement, site valuation, and follow up on site progress claims.
• Assist in site coordination and overall project delivery.
• Request quotations from suppliers, analyze, and prepare tender evaluation reports.
• Assist in company project tender exercises, including costing.
• Determine quantities for site measurement and take-offs.
• Understand special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties when required.
• Demonstrate hard work and multi-tasking abilities.
• Able to lead, take initiative, and work independently.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in construction estimating or finance is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction practices.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Honest, strong coordination skills, punctual, disciplined, and independent.
• Able to work under minimal supervision and pressure.
• Knowledge of working site practices.
• Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
