Quantity Surveyor (Johor Bahru)

About the role

Pamir Development Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents for construction projects
2. Carry out site measurements and manage on-site quantity surveying tasks
3. Negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
4. Monitor project budgets and provide regular cost reports to project managers
5. Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and standards
6. Assist with the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
7. Provide contractual advice and support to the construction team

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction management discipline
2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
3. Strong understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes, and cost management
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office suite
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines
