About the role

Angkasa Bumijaya Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Fresh Graduate) to join our team in Cheras, Selangor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline. What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
• Analyse tenders and contracts, negotiating and agreeing on terms with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor project costs and expenditure, providing regular reports to the management team
• Assist in the preparation of progress claims and final accounts
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure efficient project delivery
• Provide quantity surveying support throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with construction industry software and tools
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
