Quantity Surveyor

About the role

This is a full-time Quantity Surveyor role with AUSOURCE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT PLT based in Kuching, Sarawak. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in the construction industry, responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.

What you'll be doing

• Costing of complete homes and variations as required
• Generation of orders (including dealing with telephone enquiries and organising quotes if required)
• Making up of job files if required
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Ensuring compliance with relevant construction industry regulations and standards
• All as directed by Management

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• 0 - 2+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
• Excellent communication and management skills
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and other relevant tools
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices
