Quality Supervisor

Job Purpose
• At Ceva Lead Logistics, we are providing customers with outstanding Visibility and Control across their entire Supply Chain. Our operations experts located across the globe in our Control Towers provide services around Supplier and Order Management, Transport Planning and Monitoring, as well as managing performance and freight cost.
• Based in one of the CEVA Lead Logistics’ regional Control Towers in North America and reporting to the regional Head of Ceva Lead Logistics, the CLL Control Tower Manager will lead and oversee all operational activities within the CEVA Lead Logistics Control Tower.
• This role ensures operational services are executed in an effective and efficient manner by the different operational teams, while maintaining a high level of quality and meeting performance and cost targets.

1. Key Accountabilities

1. Validate the requirements from customer and transfer into the approved process for internal operation
2. Managing segregation and label of quarantine shipment
3. Monitor the outgoing quality check for co-pack Finish Good
4. Monitor transporter delivery performance pertaining to requirement in Quality Agreement and Service Agreement
5. Respond to Customer Quality Representative pertaining to all quality-related issue (rework, sorting, process validation, Transportation test etc)
6. Involve in quality & process improvement activities
7. Involve in quality customer audit

2. Duties

1. Ensure operational processes are well established, documented, updated and controlled
2. Educate the HOD on the requirement of document control process
3. Verification of inspection results conducted by Online Inspector and necessary documentation pertaining to the product release
4. Monitor the timely submission of necessary documentation for product release (Daily Job Report & Incoming Inspection Checklist)
5. Arrangement of standard reference and work instruction, necessary requirements & approval for rework job, sorting & process validation
6. Compile the inspection result and submit to Warehouse QA for finish products from co-pack.
7. Verification of inspection results of over labelling activity conducted by online inspector (Daily Job Report) and necessary documentation pertaining to full receipt process for putting goods away in storage locations.
8. Monitor incoming and over labelling activity and notify Customer Quality Representative in event of non-conformities detected upon receipt
9. Ensuring necessary documentation and label for quarantine shipment is not distribute to the market without approval
10. Drive operation in ensuring all customer quality incidents being addressed and channelled to CEVA Quality Dept
11. Coordinate with related party for thorough investigation to determine the root cause within the required time frame
12. Review the appropriate actions to be implemented for corrective & preventive actions
13. Monitor the non-conformity status & follow-up till action(s) closure
14. Assist in coordination with CEVA Quality Dept to plan and provide regular competency training as necessary to staff
15. Assist QMS to conduct supplier audit evaluation for vendor, transporter and courier.
16. Compile required data and prepare monthly Quality Report and KPI slides

3. Requirement

1. Diploma / University Degree or equivalent qualification
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
3. Good verbal and written communication skills
4. Good interpersonal and communication skills
5. Ability to interact well with all levels of employees
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point & Visio)
7. Familiar in SAP system
8. A team player with QA/QC ability, auditing and presentation skills
9. Assertive with good problem solving, analytical and reporting skills
10. Well versed in establishing and review process flow
11. High sense of commitment and responsibility
12. Positive thinking, independent and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
13. Flexible and willing to learn new methods and ideas
